Privacy Notice on the Protection and Processing of Personal Data

1. Data controller

Your personal data is processed by GMC Pharma Kimya Gıda İhracat ve İthalat Ltd. Şti. ("the Company") as data controller, within the framework set out below and in accordance with Law No. 6698 on the Protection of Personal Data ("KVKK") and related legislation.

2. Personal data processed

If you complete the contact form on our website or send us an e-mail, the following data is processed:

• Identity data: first and last name
• Contact data: e-mail address, telephone number, company you work for
• Enquiry content: product, quantity and technical information you share in your message
• Transaction security data: technical records relating to use of the website

3. Purposes of processing

Your personal data is processed for the following purposes:

• Responding to quotation, sample and technical document requests
• Establishing and performing the commercial relationship and managing contractual processes
• Customer relationship management and follow-up of requests and complaints
• Fulfilling obligations arising from applicable legislation

4. Legal basis

Your personal data is processed on the legal grounds set out in Article 5 of the KVKK: that processing is directly related to the conclusion or performance of a contract, that it is mandatory for the Company to fulfil its legal obligations, and that processing is necessary for the legitimate interests of the Company, provided this does not harm your fundamental rights and freedoms.

5. Transfers

Your personal data may be transferred to our service providers, logistics and transport partners and to legally authorised public institutions, only to the extent necessary to achieve the purposes stated above and in accordance with the conditions set out in Articles 8 and 9 of the KVKK.

6. Retention period

Your personal data is retained for as long as necessary for the purpose for which it was processed and in compliance with the minimum retention periods prescribed by applicable legislation. After these periods expire, your data is deleted, destroyed or anonymised.

7. Your rights as data subject

Under Article 11 of the KVKK you have the following rights:

• To learn whether your personal data is being processed and, if so, to request information about it
• To learn the purpose of processing and whether the data is used in accordance with that purpose
• To know the third parties in Türkiye or abroad to whom the data is transferred
• To request rectification where the data is incomplete or incorrectly processed
• To request erasure or destruction under the conditions set out in the law
• To request that rectification, erasure and destruction be notified to third parties to whom the data was transferred
• To object to an adverse outcome arising from analysis carried out exclusively by automated systems
• To claim compensation for damage suffered as a result of unlawful processing

8. How to apply

You may submit requests concerning the rights listed above, together with information and documents establishing your identity, by e-mail to info@gmcpharma.com.tr or in writing to Mustafa Kemal Mah. Bülent Ecevit Cad. No:74, D:3, Karşıyaka / İzmir. Applications are concluded within thirty days at the latest, depending on the nature of the request.
